Caring For PU Leather

Always clean appeal before using.
*Seek a professional leather cleaner (Highly Recommended)
PU Leather commonly develop an odor when stored and packaged over long
period of time.

Here are some links to the products I've have been told have been useful for the protection of faux leather (please note though that I don’t endorse these products/natural methods and can’t be held responsible for the usage or results):

Here are a few methods to remove odor.
(Natural Self Care Methods)

Step 1
Combine the white vinegar, laundry detergent and 1 qt. warm distilled water in a bucket. Mixture should be in equal parts and small amount of detergent.
Step 2
Dip a rag into the mixture, and "very gently" wipe down the faux leather item.  Let mixture sit for several minutes.
Step 3
Empty the bucket, and rinse it and the rag well. Add clean water to the bucket.
Step 4
Dip the clean rag into the water, and wipe down the faux leather again to remove any residue.
Step 5
Dry the faux leather gently with a soft rag.
Step 6
Allow it to air dry outside long as possible, but not in direct sunlight.

*** This may be the best solution ***
Baking Soda sprinkled over all faux leather surfaces helps remove any remaining odors.
Let the powder sit for an hour or two, or even overnight and vacuum it up afterwards.
Wiping the baking soda away with a damp cloth is another option if you don't want to drag out the vacuum cleaner.
Remember to handle with care faux leather is not as durable as real leather.
